The design of the Apple Watch is a rather widely discussed topic that has been addressed more and more in the last few years. From time to time various information about his change appear, but this did not happen in the final (for now). Now, however, it could be different. Already last year, a recognized analyst commented on this topic Ming-Chi Kuo, who mentioned that the design change will not come until 2021 for the Apple Watch Series 7. And this information has now been confirmed by another respected source, leaker Jon Prosser.

Apple Watch Series 7 concept

Although Prosser did not provide specific information about the appearance of this year's Apple Watch, he gave us a fairly good indication, according to which we can roughly estimate the appearance. In the 15th episode of the Genius Bar podcast, he mentioned that he has already seen the new Apple Watch Series 7 and is really excited about their appearance. The design should fit in perfectly with the latest Apple products, namely the iPad Pro, iPhone 12 and 24″ iMac with M1. So it is clear where the leaker was going with this. The watch will probably have sharp edges, just like the mentioned products. At the same time, we should expect a completely new color variant. Allegedly, it should be green, which we can recognize from AirPods Max or iPad Air (4th generation).

An earlier Apple Watch concept (Twitter):

If this information is indeed confirmed, it will mean a fairly big change in design, as we last experienced in 2018 with the arrival of the Apple Watch Series 4. Looking at the entire range of Apple, it would all make sense, as the new "Watches" would fit in perfectly.
