Among other things, the latest Apple Watch Series 4 also includes a new watch face called Infograph. Unfortunately, there was an error with it, which caused the watch to cycle through repeated reboots. The error was noticed yesterday by a number of Apple Watch owners in Australia, where the time was changing.

It looks like the Activity complication in the Infograph Modular watch face couldn't properly handle the loss of one hour, causing the entire device to crash and then reboot, repeatedly. The mentioned complication plots a time graph of the current day, on which calories, minutes of exercise and hours of standing are displayed hour by hour, forming Activity circles. Of course, a typical day has 24 hours, and it looks like the complication chart couldn't handle the temporary absence of an hour.

The watch rebooted repeatedly while the aforementioned complication was active. So users were stuck in an endless loop of the watch constantly crashing and restarting until it simply ran out of power. Some users have managed to resolve the issue by removing the Infograph Modular watch face using the Watch app on their iPhone. Others had no choice but to wait to see if the problem would be resolved the next day. Some servers have advised affected users not to leave their watches on chargers during this time.

By the time this article was written, Australian users' Apple Watch Series 4 was already working normally. In the Czech Republic, the time will change on October 28 at 3.00:XNUMX am. Apple is expected to release a software fix for the bug by then.
