Dan Pražák The new Apple Watch Series 4 wasn't the only news that took place in the field of Apple watches last week. Together with the arrival of the new model, Apple has discounted last year's Apple Watch Series 3, which now offers a decent ratio between quality and price. However, the older Apple Watch is not only cheaper, but also partially impoverished. Apple stopped secretly packing a charger with them.
In particular, the standard 5W USB adapter disappeared from the package. However, the interesting thing is that Apple did this only for the GPS version, the contents of the box for the GPS + Cellular model remain unchanged. However, only the first mentioned variant is sold on the Czech and Slovak markets, so if you buy the currently cheaper Apple Watch Series 3 from Apple, you will only get a sports strap and a 1m magnetic charging cable. You need to either buy the charger for 490 CZK or use the adapter supplied with the iPhone.

Apple did this primarily to save money. The price of the Apple Watch Series 3 dropped last week from the original 9 to 790 crowns, i.e. by a full 7 CZK. The GPS + Cellular model is then sold in the United States for $790 (approx. CZK 2) more expensive than the GPS version, and precisely because of the higher price, the charger remained in the package.

We recommend that you hurry up with your purchase, because a new batch with a completely different label and, above all, without a charger, has already arrived at authorized Apple dealers today.
In the case of the new Apple Watch Series 4, there have been no changes, and the contents of the package remain full-fledged both for GPS + Cellular and for the cheaper GPS model. The new watch model goes on sale in the countries of the first wave already this week on Friday. In Slovakia, sales will start in a week, i.e. on Friday, September 28, and on the domestic market one day later - on Saturday, September 29.
