Last year's iPhone 11 and 11 Pro include a number of new features. Among them are also so-called "slofies" - that is, videos from the front camera of the camera of these smartphones, taken in slo-mo mode. In the past, this function itself and its name have also received criticism from some places - people found filming themselves with the front camera of a smartphone camera in slow motion simply unnecessary.

At the beginning of January of this year, Apple published a series of funny videos on its YouTube channel, in which it pokes fun at slophie - or rather, how some people can use this function. At the end of last week, two more were added to the series of "slofia" videos. While the clips from the previous series each took place in a different environment, the latest pair of clips are united by snow and snowboarding.

Both short spots — one titled "Backflip," the other "Whiteout" — feature slo-mo selfie videos taken by professional snowboarders. The clip for "Whiteout" features Y2K & bbno$'s "Lalala," and in the video called "Backflip," we can hear the sounds of SebastiAn's "Run For Me (feat. Gallant)."

iPhone owners have had the ability to record video using slow motion for a long time, but until the arrival of the iPhone 11 series, it was only possible to record slo-mo footage using the rear camera of Apple smartphones. The iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max also offer this feature on their front cameras, Apple trademarking the name "Slofie".
