In the short trailer, we can see shots of the main character interspersed with scenes from her surroundings and family environment. It is clear from the preview that it will be a very non-standard conception of the life story of Emily Dickinson, who acts as a definite rebel in the series. The footage is accompanied by a modern, electronic sounding soundtrack. Jane Krakowski, who will play Emily's mother in the series, says of her movie daughter in the trailer: “She's wild. He will be the ruin of this family. And he doesn't know how a young lady should behave.'
The series is directed, written and produced by Alena Smith. The premiere of the series will take place within the Apple TV+ service this fall, but the date of the launch of the service remains under wraps. But visitors to the Tribeca TV Festival, which will take place on September 14, can also watch it - or rather its first episode.
