Apple no longer promises delivery of the iPad on April 3. So it seems that there is really a lot of interest in the iPad and Apple has succeeded in launching a new product. However, it is still expected that the 3G version will be on sale in the US and 9 other countries by the end of April.
Apple is doing well and the stock is currently at an all-time high. If Apple continues to do well, it could even surpass Microsoft in terms of market capitalization.
In addition, an adapter appeared again in the Apple Store, which will allow importing photos from the camera directly to the iPad. This adapter appeared in the Apple Store shortly after the introduction of the iPad, but was then withdrawn for unknown reasons. You can import photos in the classic way via a USB cable or you can insert an SD card directly into the adapter.
I would be interested in how many of these pieces have probably already been pre-ordered, so they already have the first stocks that are not empty yet :)
