Like every year, Apple announced the best iTunes content of the past twelve months. In addition to applications and games, music albums and songs, films, TV series and the best books also appeared in the ranking, although in the Czech Republic we only find the ranking from the App Store and the Mac App Store, moreover, the Czech ranking sometimes differs slightly from the American one. For 2014, the following content received awards:

In each subcategory, in addition to the winner, Apple also announced the runner-up and several other applications that made it to the top, so it's worth visiting iTunes or the App Store to see all the nominees.

Finally, the best paid apps, free apps and top grossing apps of the year were also announced. For the iPhone, these are apps Pou (paid), Facebook Messenger (free) a Clash of Clans (most profitable). They won in these categories on the iPad Minecraft (paid),  Skype or Whatsapp (free) and again Clash of Clans as the top-grossing app. The ranking applies only to the Czech Republic, it can differ significantly in each country.
