Dan Pražák Alongside iOS 12.2, Apple today also released tvOS 12.2 for all owners of the fourth and fifth generation Apple TV. The new update comes more than two months after the release of the previous tvOS 12.1.2 and brings only minor updates in the field of Siri.
tvOS 12.2 can be downloaded on a compatible Apple TV v Settings -> System -> updates software –> Update software. If you have set automatic updating, you don't have to worry about anything - the update will be offered to you automatically.
tvOS 12.2 brings only a minimum of news. If the Apple TV is paired with an iPhone or iPad with iOS 12.2, then the user can now play different content on different televisions through a Siri command - for example, one song in the living room and another in the bedroom. The function can be used for movies, series and music. However, you can only use it to a limited extent in the Czech Republic.
Other news were not discovered during beta testing, and unfortunately Apple does not release official notes for the update that would summarize the list of new features. However, we can definitely count on a few bug fixes and other improvements.
