After several months of waiting, we finally got it! Apple revealed its current operating systems already in June on the occasion of the WWDC 2021 developer conference, after which it also released the first developer beta versions. While the other systems (iOS 15/iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15) were made available to the public earlier, with the arrival of macOS Monterey, the giant made us a little more excited. That is, until now! Only a few minutes ago we saw the release of the first public version of this OS.

How to install?

If you want to install the new macOS Monterey operating system as soon as possible, now is your chance. So, although everything should run so-called without problems, it is still recommended that you back up your data before updating. It is better to prepare in advance than to regret later. Backups are easily done through the native Time Machine tool. But let's move on to the actual installation of the new version. In that case, simply open it System Preferences and go to Software update. Here you should already see the current update, all you have to do is confirm and your Mac will do the rest for you. If you do not see the new version here, do not despair and repeat the process after a few minutes.
