Apple has released the third public beta of OS X Yosemite, its new desktop operating system. At the same time, he released the eighth Developer Preview in a row to developers, which comes two weeks after the previous version. There are no major news or changes in the current test builds.

Developers and users who signed up for the AppleSeed program and can also beta versions of the new operating system for Macs have new beta versions available for download in the Mac App Store. The final version of OS X Yosemite should be released in October, but Apple has not announced the official date yet.

The only changes discovered so far in OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 8 include a request from the Notification Center regarding the permission to use the current location for Weather and a change to the navigation buttons for Settings. New are back/forward arrows and a button with a 4 by 3 grid icon to display all items.
