The new operating system for Macs is not to be released until autumn, however, today Apple released the seventh preview of the upcoming OS X 10.9 Mavericks, which is available in the Mac App Store for developers who have the previous beta version installed.
Probably the most "fundamental" novelty in the new beta version are new wallpapers for the desktop background. There are eight of them in total and almost all of them are pictures from nature. Here we can find a wave of the sea, a forest in the fog, a desert or wooded mountains. Another new feature is the ability to rename PDFs imported into iBooks for Mac. The rest are minor improvements and fixes. The release date is not yet known, but it might be we will find out on September 10, when Apple should introduce new MacBook Pros in addition to iPhones. Another possible date is sometime in October, when iMacs and Mac minis should be released together with iPads.
I have a feeling that Mr. Michal Žďárský's harvest has begun ;) Otherwise, I can't imagine how this article could have come out of him!
Apologies for the misspelling of the name
And what specifically don't you like?
I was very amused and somehow it occurred to me that the author was probably not completely sober: Probably the most "fundamental" innovation in the new beta version are new wallpapers for the desktop background. … Here we find a wave of the sea, a forest in the fog, a desert or wooded mountains.
But now that I look at it, I just noticed the quotes. That it was probably meant as an exaggeration from the very beginning.
That's exactly how it was meant to be. That the most interesting thing worth mentioning are the wallpapers, that is, that nothing extra happened.
The most important news is that Airplay finally works with Apple TV!
It worked for me already with the first beta :-D
Not me... and I have MBP Early 2011... it's full of net that it didn't work, just a black screen. But now it's okay :D
damn, it's probably a beta, it works on one book and not on the other...
I stopped watching after the first sentence. If someone says Mac OS X, it's the height of amateurism for me. That X at the end is a Roman Ten. That is why we read OS Ten or in English OS Ten. Sorry, but I must be really allergic to it now.
:))))) Hey, that's really cool. You know what? I don't think it's the height of amateurism (by the way, it's supposed to be amateurism, if such a word exists regularly :)) But I'll also write amateurism, and I'll also call myself OS iks, but rather "ten" and not at all preferably "Masox". And sorry, I don't consider myself an amateur, I work on the fruity Deep Thinking from Mac OS 7.5 and from Quadra. And from Quark and from Cubas :)
It doesn't really matter what you've been working on since. But if you release a video to the world that presents something, then you should stick to the nomenclature, right? Then people who don't know anything about Mac look at it and mistakenly believe that it's just a big X. No one calls Mercedes Lada either. At least not the person trying to review it. However, I'm probably already allergic to it. This turns me on even at DIGIT when Březina says it.
Well, that's it. From the point of view of the possibility of watching the video of neapplisty, etc., as you write, I have to agree with you. It didn't even occur to me that anyone else would watch it, but that's probably my slowness in the evening. After all, we also say masox only with "colleagues" with Mac.
And it is also true that if a certain level is to be maintained and it is not to be like other unnamed servers about Apple writing, for example, in Czech full of Slovakisms and Slovak full of Czechisms and mostly complete nonsense, it is good to pay attention to precision and level in general. Thank God things are going well here.
And I didn't mean my comment in any bad way, just for the record :)
"Amateurism" and "amateurism" are doublets. Please read the Czech spelling rules (in general).
thanks for advice :)
