Apple released new updates for all of its operating systems last night. For the most part, this is a response to a recently disclosed bug that was causing communication apps to crash (see article below). Both the iOS operating system and macOS, watchOS and tvOS received the update.

The eleventh update of iOS 11 is marked 11.2.6. Its release was unplanned, but Apple decided that the software bug in the communication interface was critical enough to be fixed as soon as possible. The iOS 11.2.6 update is available for everyone, via the classic OTA method. In addition to the aforementioned bug, the new update also addresses occasional connectivity issues between iPhones/iPads and wireless accessories when using third-party apps.

The new version of macOS 10.13.3 comes about a month after the last update. For the most part, it solves the same problem as iOS. The error also affected communication applications on this platform. The update is available via the standard Mac App Store.

In the case of watchOS, it is an update marked 4.2.3, and as in the previous two cases, the main reason for this update is to fix bugs in the communication interface. Apart from this shortcoming, the new version does not bring anything else. The tvOS system was also updated with version 11.2.5. In this case, it is a minor update that solves compatibility issues and improves system optimization.
