It's been a few minutes since we saw the introduction of the first Apple Silicon processor with the designation M1. Immediately after the introduction of this processor, the apple company also presented a trio of macOS devices - namely the MacBook Air, Mac mini and 13″ MacBook Pro. Although we didn't get to see the expected localization pendant AirTag or AirPods Studio headphones, instead Apple at least shared with us when we will get the first public beta version of macOS 11 Big Sur.

As you probably know, we got the very first developer beta version of macOS Big Sur already in June, after the Apple presentation at WWDC20, together with the first versions of iOS and iPadOS 14, watchOS 7 and tvOS 14. A few weeks ago, we were witness the release of the first public versions of new operating systems - except for macOS Big Sur. However, a few days ago Apple released the Golden Master version of the mentioned system, so it was clear that we will see the release of the public version soon. However, even before the public release, Apple released macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 RC 2 for developers. It is not clear exactly what news this system brings - most likely it only comes with fixes for errors and bugs. You can update in System Preferences -> Software Update. Of course, you must have an active developer profile.
