It's been a few days since we saw the release of the public versions of the operating systems iOS, iPadOS and tvOS 14.4, together with watchOS 7.3. The more astute among you will have noticed that Apple neglected to release macOS 11.2 Big Sur to the public in this case as well. The good news is that we finally got to see the release of the new version of the operating system for Apple computers, today. Alongside this system, the first developer beta versions of iOS, iPadOS and tvOS 14.5 were also released, along with watchOS 7.4. What's New in macOS 11.2 Big Sur

macOS Big Sur 11.2 improves Bluetooth reliability and fixes the following bugs:

  • External monitors connected to a Mac mini (M1, 2020) via HDMI to DVI reduction could display a blank screen
  • Apple ProRAW photo edits in the Photos app were not saving in certain cases
  • After turning off the "Desktop and Documents" option in iCloud Drive, iCloud Drive may have been disabled
  • In some cases, System Preferences did not unlock after entering the administrator password
  • When pressing the globe key, the Emoticons and Symbols panel did not appear in certain cases
  • Some features may only be available in select regions or only on certain Apple devices.
