Apple has released the hundredth update for iOS 9, which it has been testing in public beta versions for the past six weeks. iOS 9.3.2 on iPhones and iPads focuses on minor bug fixes, but also brings one nice change when using power saving features.

Thanks to iOS 9.3.2, it is now possible to use Low Battery Mode and Night Shift simultaneously on an iPhone or iPad, i.e. night mode, coloring the display in warmer colors, saving the eyes. So far, when saving battery via Low Power Mode, Night Shift has disabled and will not start.

Other changes in iOS 9.3.2, in addition to traditional security improvements, are described by Apple as follows:

  • Fixes an issue that could cause audio quality to drop for some Bluetooth accessories paired with iPhone SE
  • Fixes an issue that could cause dictionary definition lookups to fail
  • Addresses an issue that prevented email addresses from being entered in Mail and Messages when using the Japanese Kana keyboard
  • Fixes an issue where when using Alex's voice in VoiceOver, it would switch to a different voice when announcing punctuation and spaces
  • Fixes an issue that prevented MDM servers from installing customer B2B applications

You can download the iOS 9.3.2 update, which is a few tens of megabytes, directly on your iPhone or iPad.

Along with the iOS update, Apple also released a mini update for tvOS on Apple TV. TvOS 9.2.1 however, it does not bring any significant news, rather it follows on with minor fixes and optimizations big update from a month ago, which brought, for example, two new methods of text input, using dictation or via a Bluetooth keyboard.

The same goes for watchOS 2.2.1. Apple Watch also received a minor update to the operating system today, which does not bring any major news, but focuses on improving the current functions and the overall operation of the system.
