Exactly 14 days after Mrof the latest beta versions of upcoming Apple systems the company is simultaneously releasing new versions of iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 Yosemite. The beta version of the mobile OS is called beta 4, the desktop system is also the fourth preview for developers.

We do not know the news from iOS 8 beta 4 yet, but we will bring you their list again today in a separate article. As with previous versions, you can count on a large number of bug fixes and minor changes to the user interface. Developers and other users testing iOS 8 can perform the update OTA from Settings > General > Software Update or by downloading the beta version from the developer portal and updating via iTunes. The update delta package takes up over 250MB, 150MB less than the previous beta version.

A new update is waiting for existing users of the OS X 10.10 Yosemite developer preview in the Mac App Store. You can read about the news in it, just like in iOS 8, in the article that will be published today. Past beta version in particular, it brought a dark color mode, a new Time Machine look and some new things in the settings. Compared to iOS 10.10, OS X 8 is in a less stable state, many system services do not work at all yet. In any case, according to the latest information, Apple should bring the public beta version already this month, we'll see if it manages to catch most of the bugs by then.

The OS X update also includes the new iTunes 12.0 beta, which has a redesigned Yosemite-style look. In addition to the appearance, it also includes support for family sharing, improved playlists and a redesigned information window that displays the most relevant information about the media being played.
