A few days after Apple released iOS 7.0.4 to the public containing some minor fixes, sent out the first beta version of the upcoming 7.1 update to registered developers. It brings additional fixes, but also speed improvements, which owners of older devices will especially appreciate, and some new options.
The system has added a new option for automatic HDR mode, and photos taken using burst mode (Burst Mode - iPhone 5s only) can be directly uploaded to Photo Stream. Minor changes can also be seen in the notification center. The button for deleting notifications is more visible and the center displays a new message if you don't have any notifications in it. Before there was only a blank screen. The new Yahoo logo can be seen not only in the notification center, but also in the Weather and Actions applications. The Music application, on the other hand, got a nicer background compared to the original monolithic white.
In Accessibility, it is now possible to turn on a permanently dark keyboard for better contrast. Furthermore, changing the font weight in the same menu does not require a system restart. The menu for increasing contrast is more detailed and allows you to specifically reduce transparency and darken colors. On the iPad, the animation when closing with a four-finger gesture has been improved, in the previous version it was clearly jerky. In general, the performance on the iPad should improve, iOS 7 does not run very optimally on tablets yet.
Developers can download iOS 7 at development center, while their devices must be registered in the developer program.
What about the iPhone 4?
After a significant acceleration in iOS 7.0.3, 7.1 is now known, the phone runs almost like iOS 6. (I write almost because I use an iPhone 5S and no update can match that.)
So in that case I can postpone the purchase and wait for the iph 6 :))
Hopefully the applum will be successful
Compared to previous versions of ios7, 7.1 beta works great! When there is an official update, I believe that it will be without major problems and lags. I don't mind ios7 now! iPhone4
I still believe that Apple will not leave iPhone 4 owners at the mercy of the "nerves" of slowing down the OS.
Well, that's what the owners of the iPhone 3G with iOS 4 were hoping for... but I wouldn't like to be the bad guy.
Yes, I was hoping for 3G for a really long time, and finally when they gradually cut off the synchronization of notes with iTunes and other little things, I understood that I was no longer required to continue using the phone. Even now, I remember how fast the phone was, 3G was great, and then suddenly there was a problem opening the calendar, sms, emails, everything took such an unbearably long time...
so do not hope, my truth is already heard. Always update only within the IOS version that was when the device was purchased. A row higher, never again. Because it's still the same song.
The iPhone 4 is still sold in large numbers, so I would expect optimization to improve. My opinion.
I wish they'd revamp that music app more. For example, such scrolling of the playlist is endless and confusing thanks to the huge artworks. But it's good to see that Apple is still working hard on iOS 7, releasing updates month after month. For now, there is nothing left but to persevere and look forward to version 7.2 or iOS 8?
I hope they showed what the music will look like in the Remote app. The size is absolutely adequate there and a lot can fit there.
7 is simply a tragedy for both ios and mac. When will you finally admit that apple made this up?
And why's that?
Yeah why?
7 on Mac? And what are they talking about? OS 7? OS X 10.7?
I understand when someone writes that they don't like the look of the 7 with emu, but to write that it's a tragedy? You'll just tap your forehead when you read this...
iOS 7 has been working for me since the beginning without a single problem. When I read about some problems on the net, people, wake up, that's completely normal, at least they're fixing it. Other unnamed OSes have countless bugs that bother people, and will continue to do so because the companies hate it.
that's right, other unnamed OS's like android are crap...in my opinion, it's not that there are problems, it's that nothing like that ever happened with iOS...it always ran ALMOST without a problem and without major errors...just we sheep are not used to it, that it doesn't work right from the release without a problem =o) I, as a satisfied user of everything from Apple, will give it a try, but people who don't even know what iTunes is don't know which one beats them...
I don't know what it is, but apps and Safari sometimes crash on my iPad air.
Does anyone know how to delete photos from an album via iPad?
And if it is not possible to delete photos from the iPad, then it is enough to…
in iOS, you can only delete photos that you take. Albums uploaded via iTunes can only be deleted via iTunes. Although I haven't done it in a long time, I hope it's still the same.
Yes, that's right... It's quite inconvenient to turn on the computer to delete a couple of photos
You can delete photos and music in albums directly in iOS, just open your eyes ;)
Unfortunately, I have no experience with the iPad Air, however, photos can be deleted normally on my iPad 3. When you have a preview of the photos, in the upper right, SELECT - you tap on the photos you want to delete - in the upper left, I suspect that the second icon is the BASKET... So it should probably work on all iPads.
Do you know (owners of IP5+T-Mobile) if in 7.1 there is already an option in Settings > Mobile data - turn off 3G together with turn off LTE, or is there still only LTE? Thanks..
Still LTE only
I have an iP4, I'm happy with its functions, how it communicates with Mac and I'm not going to switch to ios XNUMX. I'll wait for the phone to go to silicon heaven on its own and not prematurely help it by installing new firmware it wasn't meant for. Howgh
How complicated is it to display a weather image in the notification center instead of the style work?
So the 7s bothered me so much and it bothers me that I solved it (and then I can claim that it was successful) with Samsung :) and all my prejudices about the fact that iOS is sooooo far ahead of Android are there and the things I can do now, which I couldn't do on the iPhone…
people, has anyone tried the beta version yet??
iOS 7.1 beta is more stable and noticeably faster (iPhone 5 and iPad 3), but in both cases I found a bug in the ringtones for administrations. I can choose any ringtone, but it's always the same (Triple). Otherwise satisfaction.
Also, to comment, I'm currently running iOS 7.1 beta on an Iphone 4 and it's running beautifully... I'm finally starting to be satisfied :))) !
I can only agree! O:-)
I'm joining! :) now it's finally it! ^_^
Woe to the paid discussion of Samsung, they could at least write that it is a paid advertisement, that they are not ashamed on the Apple forum, that no one from Apple gets on Android, keep it to yourself, Big Brother Google.
