Apple today released iOS 12.4 beta 1 to developers. The fourth major update to iOS 12 brings support for the Apple Card - a credit card that Apple introduced at the March conference. Along with iOS 12.4, the company also released the 1st developer beta versions of watchOS 5.3, tvOS 12.4 and macOS 10.14.6.

For now, all four updates can only be downloaded by registered users who have a developer profile added to their device. The new system is then traditionally found in Settings, possibly also available in Apple Developer Center. During tomorrow, Apple should also release beta versions for public testers. These will be available through the Apple Beta Software Program on the website beta.apple.com and anyone interested in testing new products can join the program.

The update notes available on Apple's official website do not mention any specific changes that the first iOS 12.4 beta is expected to bring. So it seems that the biggest news is the already mentioned Apple Card support. The credit card from Apple's workshop will be available to ordinary users during the summer months, currently it is available only to company employees. We will also put the new iOS 12.4 to the test in the Jablíčkára editorial office, and as soon as we discover new features, we will inform you via an article.
