As Apple promised during today's premiere of the new iPad Pro, Mac mini and MacBook Air, it happened. The Californian company released the new iOS 12.1 for all users a little while ago, which brings several important innovations. The update also includes bug fixes and other improvements.

You can download iOS 12.1 on iPhone and iPad in Settings -> In general -> Software update. For the iPhone XR, the installation package is 464,5 MB in size. The new software is available to owners of compatible devices, which are all iPhones, iPads and iPod touches that supported iOS 12.

Among the main news of iOS 12.1 are group video calls and audio calls via FaceTime for up to 32 participants. With the update, the iPhone XS, XS Max and iPhone XR will receive the expected support for two SIM cards, i.e. the implementation of eSIM, which is supported by T-Mobile on the Czech market. All three of this year's iPhone models also get the new Real-Time Depth Control function, which allows you to adjust the depth of field for portrait photos already during shooting. And let's not forget more than 70 new emoticons.

List of new features in iOS 12.1:
