Preparations for the sharp launch of OS X Yosemite are at their peak. After a single week Apple has released a second Golden Master version called Candidate 2.0. At the same time, he sent out the fifth public beta to users involved in the test program. The final version of OS X Yosemite could appear next week.
The latest build of OS X Yosemite (build 14A386a) is available for download through the Mac App Store or the Mac Dev Center developer portal.
The second Golden Master version no longer brings any visible changes or news, but Apple engineers mainly optimize and prepare the entire system for its release to the public. OS X Yosemite will offer new design more aligned with iOS mobile, several new functions, which will connect the desktop system with the mobile one, and improvements have also been made basic application.
Last year, in the case of OS X Mavericks, the second Golden Master version was already the last, and if Apple does hold another keynote next week, it's likely that we won't even see another Yosemite beta.
Well, in a week it will be sharp :-)
Why wait? I'm still on edge.
how to do it? I only have the public one, but I don't know if it's the same as gm? I don't really understand this on mac os x, ios has it easier
Even GM2 still has a lot of bugs (if only graphic ones - Time Machine, iTunes AirPlay, etc.), so we'll definitely wait for the next version...
it will be like lion - functional sometimes only in version 10.10.3
btw: still can't turn on handoff on mac mini 2011
I have a mac mini 2011 and handoff (calls on iphone) is on and active.. :)
so that's pretty damn weird
Big problems in iPhoto and Aperture in this beta version. The photos are correctly imported into the applications, but when you click on edit, the photos are thrown and look like an incomplete file = out of tune TV
well, thanks to the fact that apple aperture and iphoto are about to explode, so I think they won't be able to optimize it much anymore.... it works for me without any problem, although sometimes when a line is marked in the finder, it cannot be seen ....
