Apple released a minor update to its OS X Yosemite operating system. The latest version is called 10.10.2 and is available for download in the Mac App Store for all users of supported Macs.

OS X 10.10.2 traditionally improves the stability, compatibility and security of Macs and brings the following news:

  • Addresses an issue that could cause Wi-Fi to disconnect.
  • Addresses an issue that could cause web pages to load slowly.
  • Fixes an issue that caused email content to be fetched from the server even when this preference was turned off in Mail.
  • Improves audio and video synchronization when using Bluetooth headphones.
  • Adds the ability to browse iCloud Drive in Time Machine.
  • Improves speech performance in VoiceOver.
  • Addresses an issue that caused characters in VoiceOver to echo when entering text on a web page.
  • Addresses an issue that caused unexpected language switching in the input method.
  • Improves Safari stability and security.

Apple also released today iOS 8.1.3 update for iPhones, iPads and iPod touch.
