Two weeks from WWDC passed like water and Apple comes with the second beta versions of the new systems iOS 13, watchOS 6, iPadOS 13, macOS 10.15 and tvOS 13, which are for now exclusively intended for registered developers. In addition to news and bug fixes, the second beta also brings significantly easier system installation using profiles and thus simpler OTA updates.

To download updates, developers must first visit the portal developer.apple.com, download the necessary profile and install it on a specific device. After restarting, they will find the update traditionally in Settings. Together with the available profiles, the entire process of installing beta versions is greatly simplified.

Second betas are generally expected to bring a whole host of new features in addition to bug fixes. The biggest changes can be expected in iOS 13 and iPadOS 13, but watchOS 6 or macOS Mojave 10.15 will certainly not avoid news. In contrast, tvOS is usually the poorest in terms of new features.

Public betas next month

As mentioned, the new betas are only for registered developers, who must pay an annual fee of $99 for a developer account. Beta versions for public testers will be available over the next month. To be included in the program, registration on the website is required beta.apple.com, from where it will be possible to get the beta version of all systems except watchOS 6.
