With the release of iOS 8.4 and the new music service Apple Music, which Apple integrated directly into the system application Music, a rather important function called Home Sharing disappeared from iOS. It has always been used for convenient wireless music transfer across the home network. It thus enabled users to play the content of their iTunes music library through Apple TV, for example.

For a while, it was unclear whether Apple had simply buried the feature. In the description of the beta version of iOS 8.4, there was only a vague sentence that the Home Sharing function was "not currently available". But the head of iTunes Eddy Cue said on Twitter to the delight of many users that Apple is already working on the function to return to the system with the arrival of iOS 9.

Although the ability to share music within the home has disappeared from iOS 8.4, Home Sharing is still available for video. For music, the feature is only available on Mac and Apple TV. It is not clear whether Home Sharing will return to iOS already with the first version of iOS 9, but another developer beta of this version of the system, which should be released this week, could tell.

In any case, it is interesting how openly the top representatives of Apple are now behaving in the public space of Twitter. Eddy Cue has already answered a number of questions related to Apple Music with the help of this social network, and in addition, this man also used Twitter to respond to an open taylor swift letter. He said then that Apple reversed his decision and will pay artists for playing their music even during the three-month trial period.
