A number of sources have predicted the arrival of a redesigned MacBook Pro before, but Apple still hasn't revealed it. According to various information, the global shortage of chips should be to blame and the difficulty of producing Mini-LED displays, which this year's generation should be equipped with. After all, Bloomberg also announced earlier that there will now be a moment of silence on the part of the apple company, which will not be broken until later in the fall. The new MacBook Pro should boast a new chip Apple Silicon with significantly higher performance, a Mini-LED display, a new, more angular design and the return of the SD card reader along with the MagSafe power port.
DigiTimes subsequently adds that sales of new Apple laptops will reach their peak only a month later, i.e. in October. At the same time, it is still possible that Apple will not only present the new product in September, but will start selling it later. In any case, apple growers reacted to this news with mixed feelings. The month of September is traditionally reserved for the introduction of new iPhones and the Apple Watch, and at first glance it may therefore seem unlikely that such an important product as the MacBook Pro would be unveiled yet.
