A small update is available for download for iTunes, where Apple fixes an issue with downloading podcasts. At the same time, the California company released the first test build of OS X 10.9.4, just less than a week before the expected presentation of the new version of the operating system for Mac computers.

iTunes 11.2.2 really only brings one change, and that's a bug fix. Download the latest version in the Mac App Store.

This update fixes an issue that could cause podcast episodes to download unexpectedly after an upgrade, and brings several stability improvements.

The first beta version of OS X 10.9.4 was also made available to developers, however, since April test versions can also be tried by regular users, if they sign up for the Beta Seed program. OS X 10.9.4 does not seem to offer any groundbreaking news, mainly various fixes and slight improvements are expected. OS X 10.9.4 is expected to be tested by Apple alongside a brand new version of its operating system, likely version 10.10, which it is expected to unveil on Monday at WWDC. It was customary for Apple to release its new operating system to developers in the first days after the presentation. However, it is not certain whether even non-developers will be able to reach the completely new system.
