Last night, Apple published several new spots on its YouTube channel. One is about the upcoming one documentary about Patti Smith, the other two, however, take a slightly different tack – humorously trying to point out reasons why Android phone users should think twice about switching to iPhone and iOS.

The first published video is subtitled App Store, and in it Apple tries to communicate the idea of how secure the App Store is in iOS, given the strict security rules to which applications in this store are subject. On the other side is the “other” app store, where you never know what you might come across…

The second spot is called Portraits and, as the name suggests, Apple presents great portrait photography options in it, as opposed to ordinary and completely ordinary pictures that can be taken with your "regular" phone. In this case, Apple overshot somewhat, as more than half of their iPhone range does not have this feature. Both videos then guide the new potential user to the Switch web section, where it is described in great detail what the transition from Android to iOS entails, how to do it and what is needed for it. If you are planning a similar move, we definitely recommend visiting this page and getting an idea of what awaits you.
