Probably everyone who at least marginally follows news from the world of technology remembers the serious affair with the slowdown of older iPhones. It graduated in 2018 and cost Apple a lot of money. The Cupertino giant deliberately slowed down the performance of Apple phones with a degraded battery, which angered not only the Apple users themselves, but practically the entire technological community. Precisely for this reason, it is quite logical that the company realized its mistake and will not repeat it again. However, the Spanish consumer protection organization has the opposite opinion, according to which Apple has made the same mistake again, in the case of new iPhones.

According to a report from a Spanish portal iPhones the aforementioned organization accused Apple of slowing down iPhones 12, 11, 8 and XS, which started in iOS 14.5, 14.5.1 and 14.6 operating systems. However, it should be noted that no official charges have yet been filed. The organization only sent a letter in which it writes about the arrangement for appropriate compensation. But if the answer from the apple company is not satisfactory, there will be a lawsuit in Spain. The situation is slightly similar to the whole earlier affair, but there is one huge hook. While last time performance tests were pointed out, in which the slowdown of the phones could be clearly seen and practically could not be refuted in any way, now the Spanish organization has not presented even a single piece of evidence.

As it stands now, it looks like Apple won't respond to the call in any way, which is why the whole thing will end up in a Spanish court. However, if relevant data and evidence were to be presented, this could be a huge problem that would certainly not be beneficial to Apple's reputation. However, we probably won't know the truth anytime soon. Court cases take an awfully long time. If any new information concerning this affair appears, we will immediately inform you about it through articles.
