Apple has released an add-on for Chrome on Windows. It will take care of passwords stored in iCloud

Users who use both Windows and Apple at the same time have surely encountered a situation several times when they had to search for passwords in iCloud Keychain and rewrite them on a computer with the mentioned Windows. In addition, this fact has forced many Apple users to switch to third-party solutions such as 1Password and similar programs. But Apple has finally taken the first step and is trying to solve this problem. Today we saw the release of a new extension for Chrome browsers on Windows called iCloud Passwords, and as we already mentioned, this add-on takes care of the integration of passwords from Keychain into the aforementioned Chrome.

Of course, saving passwords also works the other way around - that is, if you use this add-on to generate a password in the Windows environment in the Chrome browser, it will also be automatically saved in the classic Keychain on iCloud, and you will then be able to use it, for example, on a Mac or iPhone, without having to write it down manually . This is a tiny little thing that can definitely please many users. But at the moment, we can only hope that the same extension will soon arrive in the other most used browsers, which undoubtedly include Firefox, Edge and others.

GeForce NOW Heads to Macs with Apple Silicon

Last year saw the launch of a beefed-up version of Nvidia's GeForce NOW game streaming platform. This solution allows you to play graphically demanding games even on a weaker computer or Mac, as a virtual game computer in the cloud takes care of all system requirements. So all you need to play is a stable internet connection.

The latest update to the GeForce NOW client brought with it native support for Macs equipped with chips from the Apple Silicon family. Thanks to this, even owners of Macs with an M1 chip will be able to enjoy so-called cloud gaming. Playing through this service is also available for iPhones and iPads via the Safari browser.

Apple has started selling the limited edition Apple Watch Series 6 here

Last week, Apple announced to the world through a press release the arrival of the limited edition Apple Watch Series 6, which is called Black Unity. It is no secret that the Cupertino company takes the side of discriminated groups and minorities, which is also related to this news. With this step, Apple intends to support various organizations that actively fight for racial equality and justice.

Of course, it was not certain until the last moment whether this limited edition would be sold in our country as well. In the aforementioned press release, it was only stated that sales of the watch will begin in the United States and more than 30 other countries around the world. This afternoon, however, the clock arrived "on the counter" of our Czech Online Store, from where you can already order it. Apple Watch Series 6 Black Unity are available in the same versions, i.e. with a 40mm and 44mm case. The price is then the same, which amounts to CZK 11 and CZK 490, depending on the selected variant.

And what actually makes the watch different from the classic "sixes"? Of course, everything revolves around design and execution. The first difference is the engraved inscription Black unity on the back of the space gray case. Finally we can notice the phrase Truth. Power. Solidarity. located on the metal clasp of the silicone strap, which boasts a red-green-black design, giving Apple a reference to Pan-African colors.

Apple released new iOS/iPadOS 14.5 betas with expected feature

Since the introduction of the iOS operating system, there has been quite a lot of talk about a feature that will require every application to ask the user whether they can track it across websites and applications. This data collection serves to deliver the best possible personalized advertisements. But this function is still missing in the systems. Apple only a short time ago released developer beta versions of iOS/iPadOS with the designation 14.5, which finally bring this news. So we can count on the fact that we will see the arrival of the function for the public very soon.

Apple released macOS 11.2 Big Sur with a number of fixes

Of course, the operating system for Apple computers was not forgotten either. Specifically, we received the second major update, labeled macOS 11.2 Big Sur, which fixes several bugs. This release fixes issues associated with connecting external monitors to M1 Macs via HDMI and DVI, where the display only showed a black screen. iCloud storage issues continued to be fixed.
