This year could be called the year of services for Apple. While but Apple News + a Apple Card are already available for users in selected countries, on the gaming platform Apple Arcade and video service Apple TV + we are still waiting. According to a foreign agency Bloomberg we will have to wait until November for Netflix's competition from Apple, and the monthly price of the service should stop at the same amount as for the basic Apple Music membership.

When Apple introduced TV+ at its keynote in March, it didn't mention the price of a monthly subscription or a launch date. We only received an announcement of an unspecified date “in the fall.” However, according to Bloomberg's sources, Apple TV+ should be available to regular users during November. Apple will probably announce the exact date in three weeks at the traditional autumn conference, which will be dedicated to the premiere of the new iPhones and Apple Watch.

The information about the price of the monthly tariff is somewhat more interesting. It should be $9,99, the same as the basic Apple Music subscription. Roughly calculated according to the current exchange rate, our tariff should come to 207 CZK per month. However, if Apple maintains the same pricing policy as Apple Music in the domestic market, then TV+ could cost Czech users only CZK 149 per month - that's how much the music streaming service costs in our country, even though it costs less than ten dollars in the US.

Similar to the Apple Arcade gaming service, Apple TV+ will also offer a free monthly trial subscription. It will be a quite logical step, as the content will be quite limited at first. Apple is supposed to offer only five series at launch, specifically The Morning Show with Steve Carell and Jennifer Aniston, Amazing Stories by Steven Spielberg, See with Jason Momoa, Truth Be Told with Octavia Spencer and a documentary series about extravagantly designed houses called Home.

How quickly more content will be added is just a question at this point. According to available information, episodes of the original series will be published at a frequency of three parts per week. For example, Netflix releases the entire series of a series at once, while HBO usually chooses a weekly frequency for individual episodes. Apple's solution thus represents a kind of compromise.
