However, it is also compatible with the older Apple TV HD 32 GB, which surprisingly will still be on sale. With the new controller, it will cost you CZK 4.

You will notice the biggest one if you focus on the image resolution - Apple TV HD does not support 4K HDR video, the HD version is also not able to play high-quality Dolby Vision images. However, it will probably be enough for undemanding users, and as I mentioned above, you will also get the driver introduced today in the package for this device. With it, you get simpler navigation in tvOS as well as specialized buttons to turn on and off and control the volume of the device, together with a button to activate the Siri voice assistant.

If you are interested in the older Apple TV with the new controller, you can pre-order it already on April 30. However, don't delay the purchase, the Californian giant will deliver it to the first lucky ones only in the second half of May, and therefore it can be expected that there may be considerable problems with availability. On the other hand, think carefully about whether it is better not to invest a slightly higher amount of money in the 4K version, which, in addition to the more powerful A12 Bionic processor and support for Dolby Vision and 4K, has a much longer support - take into account that the Apple TV HD is practically old six years. If you also compare the price of Apple TV HD (32 GB) and Apple TV 4K with the same storage space, the difference is a negligible 800 CZK.
