Similar to the past few years, Apple is participating in the Chinese New Year celebrations this year by releasing a new video clip from the "Shot on iPhone" series. Apple also released a spot for the Chinese New Year in last year, both video clips touch closely on the theme of family reunions and were shot using the latest iPhones.

This year's music video is called "Dauther" and its footage is just over eight minutes long. The director of the spot is Theodore Melfi, the shooting as such was undertaken by Lawrence Sher, and in the short film we will see, among others, a popular Chinese actress named Zhou Xun. The entire video clip was shot on the latest iPhone 11 Pro and shows the touching story of the meeting of women of three generations just in time for the Chinese New Year. In addition to the clip itself, we can also watch an interesting video on Apple's YouTube channel, showing the filming of the "Dauther" spot. You can watch both videos below:

The Shot on iPhone campaign has been associated with Apple for several years and has taken many forms. One of them is video clips in which Apple tries to introduce the camera functions of its latest iPhones. But the campaign also includes user photo contests, in the framework of which people can send Apple their pictures taken on the iPhone. The winners of these competitions can, for example, see their photos placed on billboards and other promotional materials of Apple, but the company has recently also material rewards.
