That's why Apple's main page has dipped into black and white colors this year too, and traditional graphics referring to the latest hardware news have been replaced by photographsí Luther King Jr.
Next to the photo of MLK we can see an inspirational quote this year "Whatever directly affects one, indirectly affects allny lastí. " Below the quote, Apple now states that lifea and we honor the message MLK left to the world not only today, but every day.

Apple CEO Tim Cook also commented on the anniversary on his Twitter. He shared a quote online Martin Luther King from his speech after receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964: "I have the audacity to believe that people everywhere can have three meals a day for their bodies, education and culture for their minds, dignity and freedom for their souls." Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 and was among the most important fighters for the equality of African Americans. During his life he was for activist work arrested more than 20 times, also won the Nobel Prize for his most legendary speech in Washington, DC. In 1968 he was 39 years old murdered by an assassin. He is still a role model and inspiration for Apple CEO Tim Cook.
