We have already informed you about the new versions of macOS, iPadOS and iOS. However, today Apple decided to update its entire range of products including Apple TV, Apple Watch and Homepod smart speaker. These are not major updates, mostly just fixes and software optimizations.

Watch 6.2

First, we'll look at the Apple Watch, where it got, for example, EKG support in new countries or support for purchases directly in applications. This means you can make in-app purchases right from your wrist. Last but not least, errors are corrected. You can read the official list of changes and news here:

  • It brings support for in-app purchases to applications
  • Fixes an issue that caused music to pause when switching the watch from Bluetooth to Wifi
  • The ECG app from Apple Watch 4 and 5 is now available in Chile, New Zealand and Turkey
  • Irregular heart activity notification is now available in Chile, New Zealand and Turkey

TvOS 13.4

The last tvOS 13.3 update was released last year, but today's 13.4 does not contain many new features. These are more just bug fixes and software optimizations. It is available to owners of the 4th generation Apple TV. Owners of the third-generation Apple TV can download tvOS 7.5, where again there are no new features, but only fixes and optimizations.

Homepod software 13.4

Owners of HomePod smart speakers have also received an update. In this case, however, similar to tvOS, it did not get to the new functions. Instead, Apple just improved the software side of the speakers and fixed bugs.
