Earth Day falls on April 22. This year, Apple Watch users will be able to earn a new special badge for their collection in the Activity app for iPhone if they manage to get at least thirty minutes of exercise in any way that day. On April 22, Apple Watch owners around the world will be encouraged to "get outside, celebrate the planet, and get your reward with any exercise thirty minutes or more." This year, Apple Watch owners had the opportunity to get a limited activity badge in February as part of Heart Month and on the occasion of St. Valentine's Day, and in March, Apple held a special challenge on the occasion of International Women's Day. This will be the third time in April that Apple Watch owners will have the opportunity to receive a special award.
