The #ShotoniPhone campaign has grown considerably over the past few years, gaining popularity primarily on Instagram. Therefore, Apple once in a while publishes several photos and videos from ordinary users to highlight the advantages and above all the quality of the camera in the iPhone. This year's models are no different. However, this time the Californian company focused only on photos taken in the Portrait mode along with adjusted depth of field, the editing of which is offered by the iPhone XS, XS Max and the cheaper iPhone XR.

Apple itself states, that thanks to the new Depth Control function, users are able to take really great photos with a sophisticated bokeh effect with the iPhone. As proof, he shared some snaps from regular Instagram and Twitter users, which you can check out in the gallery below.

Currently, it is possible to edit the depth of field on the new iPhone XS, XS Max and XR only after taking the photo. By default, the depth is set to f/4,5. However, it can be adjusted from f/1,4 to f/16. With the arrival of iOS 12.1, owners of all the aforementioned models will be able to adjust the depth of field in real time, i.e. already during photography.

From time to time, Apple also shares interesting pictures taken with the iPhone on its official Instagram. In the vast majority of cases, these are really photos from ordinary users, who often only have a few dozen "Likes" on the original post. So, if you also want to try your luck and have an interesting picture that the Californian giant could share, then there is nothing easier than attaching the hashtag #ShotoniPhone to the photo.
