The current week in the apple world pleased more than one apple lover. We saw the presentation of brand new iPhones and the world saw the HomePod mini for the first time. Although the iPhone 12 once again divides Apple fans into two camps, it still enjoys fairly decent popularity. In addition, pre-orders for the 6,1″ iPhone 12 and the same-sized Pro version start today. We will have to wait until November for the mini and Max models.

iPad Air 4th generation pre-sale has finally started

If you are a regular reader of our magazine, then you certainly did not miss the information from yesterday article. On the Canadian version of the Best Buy website, a specific date appeared when the new iPad Air of the fourth generation, which Apple presented to us as part of the Apple Event conference on September 15, should enter the market. Specifically, it is October 23rd, which would mean that the pre-sale should start during today. And that's exactly what happened.

If you already visited the official website of the Californian giant around noon today and looked at the mentioned apple tablet, you could have seen the information that the website itself is being updated. The pre-sale started at 14 p.m. and the information from yesterday's article was thus confirmed. The iPad Air (2020) will therefore enter the market alongside the aforementioned iPhones, exactly in a week. We were also informed about the launch of the pre-sale by leaker Jon Prosser already on Wednesday.

The Solo Loop in PRODUCT(RED) is now available

Alongside the aforementioned iPad Air of the fourth generation, we also saw the introduction of the Apple Watch Series 6 and the cheaper SE model. Along with these models, Apple showed us a brand new strap called Solo Loop. It was able to get the attention of apple growers almost immediately because it offers a unique and precisely fitting design. As soon as the products entered the market, we also saw the beginning of sales of these straps - except for the PRODUCT(RED) variants.

Solo Loop knitted pull-on strap in PRODUCT(RED) design:

For this color version, Apple only gave us the information that it will appear on the market only during October. By the looks of it, everything should be completely ready and you can order the perfect red threading straps right now from pages apple company. An ordinary Solo Loop will cost you 1290 crowns, and its knitted version will cost you 2690 crowns.

You can pre-order the iPhone 12 now

In the very beginning of today's summary, we mentioned that this week was incredibly important for the entire apple world. Apple can thank the next generation of its iPhones for this. You could already read in our magazine today that the pre-sale of the 6,1″ iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models has started in more than thirty countries around the world. The products will subsequently enter the market in exactly one week, i.e. on October 23. So let's quickly summarize the news with which this year's "twelves" boasted.

In the case of the just-presented generation, the Californian giant opted for the now iconic angular design, which was offered for example by iPhones 4 and 5. We must also not forget to mention the extremely powerful Apple A14 Bionic chip, which can ensure excellent performance in combination with low consumption, sophisticated camera systems, LiDAR sensor in the Pro version, durable Ceramic Shield front glass, even greater water resistance and support for 5G networks.

Another keynote awaits us, where the Mac with Apple Silicon will be revealed

We will end today's summary with a very interesting speculation. During this year's WWDC 2020 developer conference, we could see an extremely important step from Apple. The Californian giant intends to switch to its own chips even in the case of its Macs, which it will equip with something it calls Apple Silicon. This is a transition to ARM processors, with which the Californian giant has quite a lot of experience. Such chips can be found, for example, in iPhones and iPads, which are miles ahead of the competition in terms of performance. However, we did not receive much information about the mentioned event. Apple only told us that the introduction of the first Mac, which will hide Apple Silicon in its guts, will happen this year.

A well-known leaker shared the latest information on the Twitter social network Jon prosser, which is very well known among apple growers. Some of his leaks are accurate to the "millimeter", but it has already happened several times that his "prophecies" have not come true. In any case, according to him, another keynote should take place next month, specifically on November 17, where the mentioned revelation will take place. Apple should announce the event on November 10.

So far, anyway, it is not clear which model will be the first to offer an Apple ARM chip. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg magazine is still not sure whether it will be a 13″ MacBook Pro, a MacBook Air or a renewed 12″ MacBook. On the contrary, well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that we will see both the 13″ MacBook Pro and MacBook Air with Apple Silicon this year. For now, however, this is still just speculation and unverified information. In short, we will have to wait for the reality.
