Last year, the renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo made himself heard, predicting the arrival of the new iPad mini. Apple should show us this piece already in the first half of this year. The mini model in particular has not received any improvements for almost two years. Kuo indicated that the Cupertino company is preparing a larger model with a screen diagonal of around 8,5″ to 9″. The iPad mini should then benefit from its low price tag and a new, more powerful chip, bringing it conceptually much closer to the iPhone SE. Today, however, a very interesting news started spreading on the Internet, according to which we definitely have something to look forward to.

According to a Korean blog Naver Apple is about to introduce the iPad mini Pro to the world. The model is said to have already gone through complete development and we are only a few months away from the presentation itself. Anyway, this source claims that we won't see the iPad until the second half of this year. The product should offer an 8,7" display and will receive a great design overhaul, when it will noticeably come closer to the shape of the iPad Pro, which Apple also bet on in the case of the Air model introduced last year. Thanks to this, we could expect significantly smaller bezels and other great changes that we can see in the case of the 4th generation iPad Air.

The portal reacted relatively promptly to these news Apple world, which once again provided the world with a great concept. It specifically shows the iPad mini Pro (sixth generation) with an 8,9″ display and the aforementioned iPad Pro body. Following the example of the iPad Air, Touch ID could also be moved to the top power button, which would remove the home button and make the display full-screen. The concept continues to mention the presence of a USB-C port and Apple Pencil 2 support.

Of course, it is currently unclear whether we will see such a product at all. In any case, it is possible that Apple, even in the case of its smallest apple tablet, will bet on a newer, more "square" design, which is generally appreciated by apple fans. On the other hand, it is highly unlikely that the product will be named iPad mini Pro. Such a change would probably cause even more chaos, and looking at the iPad Air introduced last year, which also changed its coat and its name remained the same, it doesn't even make sense.
