Pavel Jelic Most of us have been waiting for the press release from 15:00 today, in which, according to available news, the Apple company was supposed to present the Apple Watch Series 6, together with the new iPad Air. However, that press release never came, and Jon Prosser, one of the main Apple leakers, was unfortunately wrong. Even so, today is not ordinary at all - a little while ago, Apple sent out an invitation to selected media and individuals to the Apple conference, which will take place on September 15 in Apple Park, specifically in the Steve Jobs Theater.
Given all the available information that has appeared in recent days and weeks, most of us expected that the traditional September conference at which Apple presents the new iPhones will take place in late September or early October this year. However, Apple wiped everyone's eyes with this step, and we will see the presentation of the iPhone 12, quite possibly together with other Apple products, in a week. But of course the presentation is one thing - the availability of the products to consumers is another. The latest reports state that the iPhone 12 hasn't even started mass production yet. This means that Apple may introduce new iPhones, but they will most likely not be available for several long weeks. Of course, everything in this case is to blame for the coronavirus pandemic, which "froze" the entire world for several months. Due to the coronavirus, this conference will also only be available online, without physical participants.

As has already been mentioned several times, we should expect the presentation of a total of four new iPhones at this conference. Specifically, it should be 5.4″ and 6.1″ iPhone 12, next to them, Apple should also introduce the 6.1″ iPhone 12 Pro and 6.7″ iPhone 12 Pro Max. All of these iPhones will offer new 5G network support, and changes should also take place in the design – specifically, the rounded design should be abandoned and the new flagships will resemble the current iPad Pro in terms of appearance. We should also expect a new photo system together with a LiDAR scanner, a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and also a brand new A14 Bionic processor, which should be much more economical this year than its predecessor. The packaging should also see changes, in which we probably won't find either the EarPods or the charging adapter.

In addition to the new iPhones, Apple could also introduce the aforementioned Apple Watch Series 6. Even in this case, however, we cannot expect immediate availability. The Series 6 will certainly come with the pre-installed watchOS 7 system, which is only able to work with iOS 14. Quite possibly, therefore, the Apple Watch Series 6 should be available with the arrival of the iPhone 12. In addition to the Apple Watch Series 6, we should also theoretically expect new iPad Air generation. Speculation also talks about possible new AirPods Studio headphones, AirTags or the new HomePod. So it looks like this year's conference will be really busy and we in the editorial office are already counting down the last days before the outbreak.
