Apple today updated a specific section of its website where users can find out exactly how the company handles sensitive user data. The so-called Transparency report it is newly broken down by country and for each of them it is precisely stated whether Apple has supplied them with any information or not.

Thanks to the new design, the Transparency Report is very easy to read and everyone can see which states or their governments, have requested some information from Apple regarding data from their products and user information.

If you want to dig deeper into the newly released tool, you have a filter to specify exactly what you're looking for. In the first part, you have to choose the period you are interested in. This is divided at half-yearly intervals and goes back to the first half of 2013.

After choosing the time period, you need to choose the country you are interested in. You will then be shown a "card" of the country where you can find summary information for the selected period. You can also open a general report here, in which you will find the most detailed information such as the number of requests to make the account available, identification of owners, how many devices and accounts these requests concerned, etc. In the table below, we can then find out how many requests Apple really complied with.

Na this link you can view the detailed report of the Czech Republic. It shows that in the first half of this year, Apple received a request regarding thirty devices and three Apple accounts. At the bottom of the page are the statistics of requests and their fulfillment over the past few years. The most requests to reveal the identity of the owner of an Apple device took place in 2014, when there were almost 90 of them. However, Apple complied in only 42% of cases.
