Apple launched its Back to School program this week. In addition to select discounted products, it also offers an extended trial period of Apple Music membership as part of this program, aimed at college students. It now amounts to six months compared to the original three.

Users who decide to try Apple Music for the first time usually have the option of a three-month free trial. This can sometimes be extended up to four months as part of special offers. This time, it is the first time in history that Apple has decided to extend this deadline even up to twice. After this period, students will start paying the standard 69 crowns per month.

A condition for obtaining a student membership of Apple Music is an active study at the university and verification through the UNiDAYS platform. The extended trial period is only available to brand new Apple Music subscribers. If you're in college and paying for a standard membership, you can certainly take advantage of the student rate, but you won't have the option of a six-month trial period. In addition to new subscribers, this is also limited to selected areas, which unfortunately does not include the Czech Republic. Domestic students have the opportunity to use only three months for 9 crowns as part of the registration.

But what Czech university students will not be prepared for as part of the Back to School event is the offer of hardware and accessories at discounted prices - you can find a complete overview at Apple website.
