Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), he announced, that it sold more than 6 million new phones in the first weekend it launched the iPhone 6 and 10 Plus. This is a new record for the company, last year it was sold in the first three days Nine million iPhone 5S.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus went on sale on September 19 in a total of ten countries, a week after Apple also launched record pre-orders. This Friday, the new Apple phones will reach another 20 countries, and by the end of the year they should arrive in a total of 115 countries, including the Czech Republic.

"Sales of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations during the first weekend, and we couldn't be happier," Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a press release.

“We would like to thank all customers for creating the best sales start in history, which significantly exceeded previous sales records. As our team managed the production rush better than ever before, we were able to sell many more iPhones and we are still working hard to deliver new orders as soon as possible,” added Cook.

Apple improved one million iPhones sold last year's iPhone 5S and 5C record, the significant difference between last year's and this year's start of sales of new iPhones is that this year's first wave does not feature China, which is considered a huge market for the latest iPhones. In 2012, for comparison, it was sold in the first weekend five million iPhones 5, the iPhone 4S model a year earlier it sold four million units.

In the first wave of countries, where the "six" iPhones began to be sold, there were the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and Great Britain. Among the twenty countries where the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will arrive on September 26, unfortunately does not appear Czech Republic. We are still waiting for the official start of sales, the exact date is not even known.
