Gizmodo has obtained an official statement from an Apple representative who claims that all issues with the Apple iMac 27″ have now been resolved.
The Apple iMac 27″ has suffered from issues with a yellowed screen and flickering display since its release. Everything should be fixed by now with software updates. Even so, people still appear on the forums who claim that they continue to have problems. Apple recommends that these users contact an Apple representative.
In America, it offers a 15% refund to customers who have had some of these problems. We will not see this in the Czech Republic, but finally the availability of this model should improve and we should not be afraid to buy this model.
I confirm. For 3 weeks now, everything has been running as it should on the 27″. No flickering and black screen.
When I was buying an iMac, I was faced with a choice: 21.5 or 27 inches. In the end I went down to 21.5 and did well. Yes, the problems with flickering or yellowish color are solved, but with the Magic Mouse, even with the speed set to maximum, the main menu takes quite a long time :)
