Lately, we've been pretty heavily criticizing Apple for the way it treats its customers, whether it was Black Friday discounts or the fact that we definitely won't get any Christmas gifts from it this year. Error. As the company stated in its press release, he is planning something for us after all. But it won't be for everyone.

Apple Music Sing is supposed to be a new feature that will allow users to sing along with their favorite artists and their songs, which include verbal accompaniment and text display in real time. And since Apple Music contains tens of millions of the world's most popular songs, it will be a truly comprehensive catalog. But as is evident, only subscribers of the platform will use this news. After all, Apple itself states in the text: "Apple Music Sing will be available later this month to Apple Music subscribers worldwide and can be enjoyed on iPhone, iPad and the new Apple TV 4K."

So you can take two things from this. The first is that if you don't have plans for New Year's Eve, you can have an unforgettable karaoke party. The second is that if you own an older Apple TV, you should still write to Jesus for a new one. Support is not amazing, but neither is the case with other devices. Apple Music‌ Sing will be available on iPhone 11 and later and iPad Pro XNUMXrd generation and later.

It's not clear why only the latest ‌Apple TV‌ is supported, especially since ‌Apple Music‌ Sing is ideal right on the big TV screen in front of you with friends or family gathered around. Compared to older models, however, the new ‌Apple TV‌ 4K has an A15 Bionic chip and HDR10+ support, so it looks like performance will be the issue here.

Apple Music Sing includes:

  • Customizable vocals: Users have control over the volume level of vocals in a song. They can sing with the artist's original vocals or suppress them entirely.
  • Lyrics in real time: Users can sing along to their favorite songs with animated lyrics that dance to the beat just like karaoke.
  • Backing vocals: Simultaneously sung vocal lines can animate independently of the lead vocals to make it easier for users to follow.
  • Show duets: Multiple vocalists are displayed on opposite sides of the screen to make it easy to sing duets or songs with multiple singers.

Apple Music will also introduce a set of more than 50 dedicated backing playlists of the most famous songs, duets and anthems to the new feature. As you may have guessed, this news will certainly have the side effect of the death of many specialized applications in the App Store, the most famous of which is e.g. Smule: Karaoke Music Studio.

It has been more than a year since Apple bought the service Primephonic engaged in classical music streaming. Intended service or function or add-on with subtitle Apple Music Classical but it still doesn't come. At least the more shy ones would certainly welcome it more than some excited singing. On the other hand, something is better than nothing, even if my little Apple Music Sing completely misses its purpose.
