Twenty-five of the most famous American channels for a price of around $35 per month. According to news server The Wall Street Journal what Apple's future TV service could look like. Sources of the New York daily calculate that the new product could be presented at WWDC in June, and the launch would then fall in the fall of this year.

Apple's TV service will reportedly work on all iOS devices from the iPhone to the Apple TV. On those, we (or American customers) could watch a handful of leading channels that currently dominate the cable market. For example, it is ABC, CBS, ESPN or Fox. At the same time, their subsidiary channels are also taken into account, such as Fox News' FX, which is focused on serial production.

However, several well-known names are missing from the list. For example, you won't find NBC and all of its sister channels in the future offering yet, due to a lack of communication between Apple and NBC Universal's owner, the cable company Comcast. Other smaller and larger names are missing for the simple reason that Apple is initially counting on a slimmer offer, which it will eventually expand gradually.

According to the WSJ, the American market is currently in a position where an increasing number of people are trying to avoid paying for traditional cable TV. The fees for it are relatively high in the less competitive American market - they are around 90 dollars (CZK 2300) per month.

Users are thus looking for alternative distribution channels. One such is a streaming service Sling TV, which offers, for example, AMC, ESPN, TBS or Adult Swim for $20 a month. We can't leave out other popular online services as well Netflix or Hulu.

Apple has also been associated with online streaming in recent months. After the billion dollar acquisition of Beats Electronics, an early launch is widely expected new music services under the iTunes heading.

In addition, we could also hear a mention of streaming from Apple at its latest presentation, at HBO Now announcement. This will allow this premium movie and series channel to be watched live online, and Apple has secured initial exclusivity for its iOS devices.
