Apple has stopped selling the iPhone SE (2020) with 256GB of storage

If you followed Tuesday's Apple Event carefully, or if you are one of our loyal readers, you certainly know that we saw the presentation of brand new Apple products. Specifically, Apple introduced the new iPad mini and iPad, along with the Apple Watch Series 7 and the new iPhones 13 and 13 Pro. Just recently, Apple phones caused a real earthquake in the current portfolio of phones that the Californian giant officially offers on its own Online Store. We have already informed you that Apple has stopped selling the iPhone XR and iPhone 12 Pro (Max), but it does not end there.

At the moment, in addition to the new iPhone 13 and 13 Pro, the portfolio of officially sold Apple phones includes the iPhone 12 (mini), iPhone 11 and iPhone SE (2020). It is the last mentioned model that is extremely popular among customers, mainly thanks to Touch ID, which people simply love. With the second generation of the iPhone SE, Apple hit the bull's eye, from all sides. On the one hand, it gave people an Apple phone with a perfect price-performance ratio, and on the other hand, it could continue to use practically the same bodies as in previous years, which had a positive effect on lower production and development costs. Until the introduction of the new iPhones 2020 and 13 Pro, you could purchase the iPhone SE (13) in a total of three capacity variants, namely 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. But that is in the past.

If you look at the Apple Online Store now and click on the iPhone SE (2020), you may notice that the 256 GB storage variant has disappeared for good. Apple most likely decided to take this step in order to force customers to buy another model in some way. In addition, it is also quite possible that Apple is slowly suspending the production of this iPhone, since according to available information and leaks, we could already see the third generation iPhone SE next year. The price of the iPhone SE with a storage capacity of 64 GB is 11 crowns, the variant with a storage capacity of 690 GB is 128 crowns.
