Alongside the new generation of Mac Pro, Apple also presented the long-speculated Pro Display XDR at its developer conference today. The monitor is tailor-made for the new Mac for professionals, which is reflected not only in its specifications, but also, of course, in the price, which in the basic version reaches 115 crowns.
Specifications of the new Pro Display XDR:
- 27 inch panel
- Retina 6K (resolution 6026 x 3384 pixels)
- HDR support (specifically advanced XDR - hence the name Pro Display XDR)
- P3 color gamut support
- Super wide viewing angle
- Anti-reflective protection guaranteed thanks to nano-textured glass (Pro version only)
- Brightness 1000 nits (up to 1600 nits maximum)
- contrast 1: 000
- up to 6 monitors can be connected
- wide adjustment options thanks to the joint
- The monitor also supports Portrait Mode (portrait display)
- The price of the basic version starts at 4999 dollars, Pro version at 5999 dollars
- The Vesa mount will be available separately for $199. The stand then costs $999
- It will be available in the fall
What about the monitor, let them price it as they want and maybe it's worth it, but the VESA mount is supposed to be free in the package instead of $200 and the stand for $1000? That's already rough.. :)
However, even the reaction of the audience made it clear...:D
I'm looking forward to finally putting matte display technology and anti-reflective layers into MBP, MBA and iMac??
Stand, holder, VAT and duty must be included. Then it comes out to 210 thousand, not 115.
