Adam Kos As expected, Apple today released new products in the form of press releases, including the new Apple TV 4K. According to him, it is "the most powerful Apple TV to date", whose advantages revolve mainly around the A15 Bionic chip, HDR10+, and, surprise of the world, even a lower price.
The new Apple TV 4K is equipped with the A15 Bionic chip, i.e. the chip that Apple introduced with the iPhone 13 and which ensures smoother playback of Apple Arcade titles in particular. In addition to Dolby Vision, Apple TV 4K also supports HDR10+, so users can watch their favorite movies and TV shows in the best possible quality on multiple TVs.
The new Apple TV 4K is available in two configurations. The first is referred to as Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi) and offers 64GB of storage, the other then as Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi + Ethernet), which also offers gigabit ethernet support for fast network connection and streaming, the Thread mesh network protocol for connecting even more smart home accessories, and twice as much storage for apps and games, i.e. 128 GB.

Thanks to the new chip, the device is not only more powerful, but of course also more energy efficient. Performance is now said to be up to 50 percent higher than the previous generation, resulting in better responsiveness, faster content browsing and snappier UI animations. The performance of the graphics processor is now up to 30 percent higher than the previous generation, which of course ensures even smoother gameplay.

The driver has USB-C, the price really pleases
Even if it looks like nothing new has happened with the driver, it's not entirely true. Visually, the Siri Remote has not changed, but Apple has removed Lightning and added USB-C instead. But it wouldn't be Apple if it didn't do some defiance. With the previous Apple TV 4K, it also included a Lightning to USB cable in the package, now it only includes a power cord for the Apple TV.

That's also why the price could fall a bit, because the content is being saved. You pay CZK 4 for the basic version, CZK 190 for the version with Ethernet. The original prices were CZK 4 for the 790GB version and CZK 4 for the 990GB version. Even with regard to storage, the news are therefore really cheaper. I think it's ok this way. I bought the previous generation mentioned in the article in the cheaper version because I don't need more memory and I would do the same when upgrading to a new generation, where I would easily want a LAN. Anyway, WiFi ax is faster than the gig port it has.
Yes, Wi-Fi 6 can transfer data faster, but it is mainly about stability, which will never be equal to a wired connection. Personally, I have a fast internet connection at home, a router about a meter from the Apple TV, and I have Ethernet connected anyway, because it was often less than ideal.
So the games on Arcade are worth the old Bela, there is almost nothing there, so game support is useless.
Maybe Apple will work on it. Therefore, Apple released a TV with these parameters
