The new models get Intel 8th and 9th generation processors, with the most equipped model being equipped with an 8-core processor for the first time. In addition to higher performance, the new series also has an improved keyboard, which should no longer suffer from known problems.
According to Apple's claims, the new most powerful MacBook Pro offers twice the performance of the model with a quad-core processor. Compared to the configuration with a 6-core processor, performance increased by 40%. The most powerful Intel Core i9 of the ninth generation offers a core clock of 2,4 GHz and thanks to the Turbo Boost function up to 5,0 GHz.

In other aspects, the new MacBook Pros are no different from the previous generation, at least based on information from Apple press releases. They still have the same design, four Thunderbolt 3 ports, a Retina display with True Tone technology and support for the P3 wide color gamut, up to 32 GB of RAM, an SSD with a capacity of up to 4 TB, an Apple T2 chip and, of course, Touch Bar and Touch ID.
The only, but really welcome, change is the improved keyboard. Although Apple itself does not directly mention it in its report, a foreign magazine The Loop confirmed that the new MacBook Pro really offers an improved keyboard. Apparently, Apple is using new materials in its production, which should limit the problems that plagued the butterfly mechanism. Whether this statement is true and to what extent, we will only learn from subsequent tests.

Unfortunately, the 13-inch MacBook Pros without Touch Bar did not receive the update, so they still have seventh-generation Intel processors. At the same time, their price tag remains the same as before.

And for example, Apple is even looking at such a convenience from China as a keyboard with F1-F12 instead of the horrible shit called TouchBar.
And maybe Apple will also rid us of the horror called the USBC connector - all 4 of them are wobbly for me after two years, putting an external drive in them is a big problem, because just move the laptop on the table and the nice drive will be cut because it is disconnected from the power supply in the middle of use - replacements cables do not help.
And maybe the wonderful Apple will return the HDMI interface to us, because finding a TV with DisplayPort is a problem these days.
And maybe the laptop will be a little thicker and heavier, and the battery will really last the claimed time and will not brutally overheat and constantly spin the fans.

If Apple really improves all this (because they listen to what their customers complain about), then I will upgrade without hesitation - my 15" 2016 Pro is the worst I've ever experienced from them...
