Apple today announced an interesting new feature called Apple Music Sessions, which is already available within the music streaming platform Apple Music. This is an exclusive collaboration with well-known artists Carrie Underwood and Tenille Townes. In cooperation with Apple, they have prepared an exclusive edition of their most popular hits, which were recorded with the support of Spatial Audio (spatial sound) and can only be listened to on the Apple platform. The actual recording of these hits took place in the new modern studios of Apple Music in Nashville, in the American state of Tennessee. But to make matters worse, these are not just audio versions – there are also video clips, carried in the style of a live performance with a real band.

Apple Music Sessions

Therefore, Apple Music subscribers can already find new performances by these artists in the form of EPs on the platform. From Carrie Underwood you can look forward to her well-known hit Ghost Story, as well as the new version of the song Blown Away. To make matters worse, the singer also took care of a cover version of the now legendary song Mom, I'm Coming Home by Ozzy Osbourne. Underwood evaluated her cooperation with Apple very positively. She emphasized that this project filled her with new experiences, amused her a lot, and in general she is extremely glad that she could show herself in the best light.

As we mentioned above, an American singer and author also became part of the Apple Music Sessions project Tenille Townes. She recorded her earlier hits Same Road HomeSomebody's Daughter, while also pushing for her own cover version of the song At last by Etta James. Even Townes was extremely excited about the whole collaboration, and most praises that it is absolutely amazing to see her live show captured along with the band.

The future of Apple Music Sessions

Of course, it's far from over for these singers. The entire Apple Music Sessions project started in the aforementioned studios in Nashville, where Apple, in addition to Underwood and Townes, invited well-known names such as Ronnie Dunn, Ingrid Andress and many others. All these names have one thing in common – they focus on country music. However, the Cupertino giant has much bigger ambitions with the whole project. Part of his plan is to delve into other genres, which we can look forward to in the future.

Both EPs, which were released under the auspices of Apple Music Sessions with surround sound support and a video clip, can already be found on the Apple Music platform.
