On the occasion of today's Apple Event, the Cupertino giant presented the long-awaited AirPods 3rd generation headphones, which at first glance show that they were inspired by their older sibling AirPods Pro. So let's shine a light on the known changes.
The Cupertino giant started the presentation itself by praising the current Apple headphones, which can easily deal with Spatial Audio, or spatial sound, which takes the sound quality to a whole new level. The problem is that only the Pro and Max models have managed this so far. That is exactly why the 3rd generation AirPods are coming, for which the main novelty is the support of Spatial Audio. As we mentioned above, another interesting change is undoubtedly the design, which is slightly similar to the AirPods Pro. Thanks to this, the case also got a new look. To make matters worse, better sound quality is also coming. At the same time, Apple also listened to the desires of the Apple users themselves, who have been calling for resistance to water and sweat for a long time.

Other novelties include the automatic pairing function, 1,5 hours more battery life, which in the end gives 6 hours without the case and up to 30 hours with the case. The 3rd generation AirPods will be available for pre-order as early as today, heading to retailer shelves in a week. Their price is then set at $179.

I will have to throw out the 2nd Airpods due to a sudden drop in battery capacity in the left earpiece. Of course they are out of warranty. So thanks Apple, but I won't buy wireless headphones without possibly replacing the battery.
